1998 - Lost 1r at Indian Wells, and failed to qualify at three other WTA Tour events, including the US Open; competed at five ITF Circuit events (once as a LL), winning first singles title at ITF/Tampico-MEX when opponent, Varmuza, ret.
1999 - Failed to qualify at two WTA Tour events; competed at eight ITF Circuit events, twice as a qualifier, and reached 2r three times
