1998 - Reached successive ITF Circuit finals in South America (winning ITF/Suzano-BRA, and reaching the finals at ITF/Buenos Aires-ARG); these results propelled her into the world's Top 200 for the first time in her eight-year professional career

1999 - Playing in first WTA Tour main draw tournament of career at Bol, upset world No. 35 Black for career-best win; shortly afterward reached singles ranking of No. 148; also reached doubles final in Bol with Shaughnessy

2000 - D. three seeds to win seventh career title at ITF/Fiumicino-ITA, her sixth home-country title

2001 - With Dragomir Ilie, reached second career doubles final at Knokke-Heist with wins over the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds

2002 - Ranked No. 221, qualified for Bogota and d. fellow qualifier Raluca Sandu 36 64 75 (ranked No. 279) before falling to world No. 49 and No. 3 seed Suarez 63 63; as a qualifier and ranked No. 199, lost 1r to world No. 67 Garbin at Acapulco; collected ninth career at ITF/Galatina-ITA, including a win over No. 2 seed; also won the doubles title

2003 - Withdrew from Bogota, Acapulco and Indian Wells due to surgery to remove a right thyroid nodule; reached three ITF Circuit doubles finals

2004 - As world No.209, l. 1r at Hyderabad in 3s to No.228 Fokina; failed to qualify at Australian Open and three Tour events; reached seven doubles finals on ITF Circuit, winning five.

2005 - Season highlighted by capturing career-first Tour title in doubles, at Strasbourg (w/Andres Rodriguez); also SF at Modena (w/Andres Rodriguez) and Budapest (w/Birnerova); fell in singles qualifying at three Tour events.
