2002 - Played first Tour qualifying at Moscow (as WC); won one singles title on ITF Circuit.

2003 - Played Tour qualifying at Bol; won one singles title on ITF Circuit.

2004 - Played first three Tour main draws, reaching QF at Tokyo [Japan Open] (l. to Washington) and 2r at US Open (as qualifier, l. to Kostanic Tosic) and Tashkent; fell in Tour qualifying eight times (incl. Australian Open, Wimbledon); won two singles titles on ITF Circuit; made Top 100 debut on October 18 at No.97.

2005 - Best season to date, reaching first two Tour SF at Pattaya City (d. No.2 seed Zvonareva en route; ret. vs. No.3 seed Martinez w/heat illness) and Memphis (l. to top seed Zvonareva) and QF at Tier I Rome (l. to No.8 seed Schnyder); also reached 4r at Australian Open (l. to No.2 seed Mauresmo) and Indian Wells (d. No.2 seed Mauresmo en route; l. to Clijsters); wins over world No.11 Zvonareva (Pattaya City) and world No.2 Mauresmo (Indian Wells) were first career Top 20 wins; reached 2r three times (incl. US Open); fell 1r eight times (incl. Roland Garros, Wimbledon); fell in Tour qualifying three times; made Top 50 debut on February 21 (after Memphis; rose from No.57 to No.47) and reached career-high No.35 on July 4 (after Wimbledon); withdrew from Charleston and Warsaw w/left wrist sprain and from Guangzhou and Tokyo [Japan Open] w/wrist injury; ret. in Toronto 1r w/gastrointestinal illness, also forcing withdrawal from New Haven.
