One day remains for fans around the world to vote for the participants in the WTA Rising Stars Invitational, scheduled to take place during the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, from October 17-21. Through the first four weeks more than 300,000 fans have voted for the 21 eligible players representing 10 different countries.

Voting for the WTA Rising Stars ends Friday, October 3, at 11:59pm EST as the two players receiving the most votes in each respective group will play in the event. The balloting results will be announced on Thursday, October 9, on WTAFinals.com.

Rest of World: Belinda Bencic, Lauren Davis, Jovana Jaksic, Madison Keys, Christina McHale, Grace Min, Monica Puig, Shelby Rogers, Elina Svitolina, CoCo Vandeweghe

Asia-Pacific: Zarina Diyas, Misa Eguchi, Sachie Ishizu, Luksika Kumkhum, Hiroko Kuwata, Nicha Lertpitaksinchai, Kurumi Nara, Naomi Osaka, Yulia Putintseva, Olivia Rogowska, Zheng Saisai


The 21 players nominated were selected using the following criteria:

Rest of World:
? Aged 23 or under at the start of WTA Finals AND
? Ranked within the Top 50 on the first Monday of the US Open (August 25), OR
? Reached a Grand Slam, Premier or International semifinal

Asia-Pacific:
? Aged 23 or under at the start of WTA Finals AND
? Ranked within the Top 150 on the first Monday of the US Open, OR
? Won a match in main draw of a Premier or International and/or a finalist in WTA 125K Series

If one of the selected WTA Rising Stars is unable to attend, the WTA Rising Star who received the next most votes will be selected. Some WTA Rising Stars were not included in the poll due to prior commitments.
