EASTBOURNE, England - Caroline Wozniacki, a 21-time WTA champion and former No.1, took some time out during her Aegon International campaign this week to visit the Pomodoro e Mozzarella pizzeria and try her hand at pizza making - from flipping the dough right through to the finished product.
"I actually really enjoyed it," Wozniacki said afterwards. "The chef showed me how to put out the dough and then he showed me how to throw the pizza up in the air, and I think I did pretty well!
"The pizza didn't land on the ground, so mission accomplished."
Wozniacki was also asked if being a pizza maker is something she might consider in the future.
"I think I'd be more a pastry chef than a cook," the former World No.1 said.
"I'll stick to tennis a few more years, then I'll see what happens!"
