Twenty-two-year-old Karolina Pliskova had quite the busy February, playing in four different countries.

She began the month by leading the Czech Republic Fed Cup team to a win over Canada. She then quickly flew to the BNP Paribas Fortis Diamond Games where she reached her second WTA Premier semifinal of 2015, upsetting Lucie Safarova in the quarterfinals.

She went one step better the following week at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, upsetting Ana Ivanovic and Lucie Safarova and battling past fellow WTA Rising Star Garbiñe Muguruza en route to the first WTA Premier 5 final of her career.

The Czech's recent play has vaulted her to No.4 on the Road To Singapore leaderboard.

For that reason she has been named February's WTA Rising Star Of The Month.

What were Pliskova's thoughts after such an impressive month?

"I'm happy for the week and for the last two or three weeks I had. I played a lot of matches and beat some great players."
