NEW YORK, NY, USA - World No.1 Karolina Pliskova is on course for a third straight year atop the WTA's ace leaderboard - and at the US Open, she'll be putting her service supremacy to a good cause with her #AceQueen initiative.

The 25-year-old, runner-up in Flushing Meadows last year and the winner of three WTA titles in 2017, launched the Karolina Pliskova Endowment Fund in June.

In partnership with sportswear giants Fila and fintech company Chytry Honza, Pliskova's Fund will donate €200 for every ace she hits during the US Open to the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Department of Motol University Hospital in Prague.

Pliskova hit 517 aces in 2015, increased that total to 530 in 2016 and currently leads this year's tally with 348. She is also one of the title favorites in New York. Over the next fortnight, her biggest on-court weapon will be helping both her quest for a maiden Slam title and vital medical services back home.

During the tournament at Flushing Meadows, Pliskova is promoting her cause using the hashtags #AceQueen and #Bojuj. 'Bojuj' is the Czech word for 'fight', which is trending in her homeland after Pliskova was wished luck by Boston Bruins NHL player David Pastrnak, and former Liverpool soccer players Vladimir Smicer and Patrick Berger.
