After Men's Singles match
Ashleigh Barty (AUS) / CoCo Vandeweghe (USA) v Barbora Krejcikova (CZE) / Katerina Siniakova (CZE)
— Katerina Siniakova (@K_Siniakova) March 31, 2018
Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova are playing in their second doubles final of 2018, having previously lasted the distance in Shenzhen in January (losing to Simona Halep and Irina-Camelia Begu). Victory on Sunday would be their first title as a pairing.
Ashleigh Barty and CoCo Vandeweghe are playing in their second tournament together, having previously reached the first round at Indian Wells last month - where they lost to No.3 seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan.
The pairings have never previously met in doubles competition.
Aged 26, CoCo Vandeweghe is the eldest of the four finalists by four years, whereas Barbora Krejcikova has the most career doubles match victories, with 176.
Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova were taken to three sets in each of their last three matches in Miami, whereas CoCo Vandeweghe and Ashleigh Barty have only gone the distance twice over the past fortnight.
Three of the past four doubles finals at Miami have been won in straight sets.
Victory for CoCo Vandeweghe and Ashleigh Barty on Sunday would make them the sixth unseeded pair to win the Miami doubles title in the past decade.
