Barbora Strycova’s golden summer has continued as she tops the doubles grid of the Porsche Race to Shenzhen along with partner Hsieh Su-wei.

The Czech, who reached the semifinals of Wimbledon in the singles draw but lifted her maiden Grand Slam title along with Hsieh in the ladies doubles, climbed to the top of the WTA Rankings in doubles last week.

Additionally, the duo strengthened their grip on a place in the WTA Finals in Shenzhen, which will take place from October 27 until November 3.

They hold a 670-point advantage over the second-placed couple, Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos.

Strycova, meanwhile, remains 19th in the singles race, with the Top 20 of that particular grid having remain unmoved over the course of the last week.

Ashleigh Barty, the French Open champion, continues to lead the way ahead of Simona Halep, who stunned Serena Williams to win Wimbledon. Naomi Osaka, who is 2019’s other major champion, having won the Australian Open, is at No.6.
