MATCH POINTS

The forecast for the final is for very hot conditions - with temperatures predicted to reach 92F.

Madison Keys has a perfect record against Svetlana Kuznetsova so far. They have played three times, all on hardcourts, and all three times the American has triumphed in two sets.

However, they have never met later than the Round of 16 stage previously; and their most recent encounter was in Beijing three years ago.

This is Keys's first hardcourt final since the 2017 US Open, and she is the first American finalist in this tournament since Serena Williams lifted the trophy in 2015.

Both players won their most recent tour finals - Keys in Charleston earlier this year, and Kuznetsova in Washington D.C. last year.

Kuznetsova could become the fifth Russian woman to win this tournament, following in the footsteps of Vera Zvonareva (2006), Anna Chakvetadze (2007), Nadia Petrova (2008), and Maria Sharapova (2011).
