To become the talk of the town in New York, you need to create quite the impression. At last year's US Open, wildcard CiCi Bellis managed to do just that with her stunning upset of Dominika Cibulkova.

Bellis earned her spot in the draw by winning the USTA Girls' 18s National Championship, and her successor, Sofia Kenin, will be eagerly anticipating the opportunity to create her own headlines. Kenin, who overcame Tornado Alicia Black, 6-2, 5-7, 7-5, to claim this year's crown and the accompanying main draw wildcard for Flushing Meadows, has played a smattering of events on the ITF Circuit, but her US Open bow will mark her introduction to the big time.
