Maria Kirilenko, a former Top 10 player and three-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist, has announced she has become the latest WTA star to join the world of motherhood.

MOSCOW, Russia - Former World No.10 Maria Kirilenko has become the latest WTA player to join the world of motherhood, sending out a tweet on Friday, first in Russian, to announce the big news.

Kirilenko is a three-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist, at the Australian Open in 2010 (falling to Zheng Jie), Wimbledon in 2012 (falling to Agnieszka Radwanska) and the French Open in 2013 (falling to Victoria Azarenka). A six-time WTA title-winner, the last event she played was Beijing last September.
