SHENZHEN, China - Johanna Konta and Timea Bacsinszky are two players not lacking in precision on the court. At this week's Shenzhen Open they saw if they could replicate this in the kitchen, too.

Bacsinszky has experience wearing a toque, having served an apprenticeship at a five-star hotel during her hiatus from the tour, and was a natural during her sugar drawing challenge. Konta took a little longer to warm to the task at hand, but once in her stride produced some sweet results.

On the court, however, the pair were unable to replicate their success together, falling in the first round of the doubles to Jelena Jankovic and Katerina Siniakova.
