The Legends will play a doubles match with the young Americans - who will then go head-to-head in singles.

NEWPORT, RI, USA - Hall of Famer Gigi Fernandez and WTA Legend and local star Jill Craybas will each team up with a rising star for a once-in-a-lifetime doubles match at the Hall of Fame Open in July.

One will partner Australian Open semifinalist Danielle Collins, the current World No.35, and the other will pair up with French Open semifinalist Amanda Anisimova, now at a career-high ranking of World No.26.

The two young Americans will then play each other in singles. They have shared a court before - but on the same side, having played doubles together at this year's Australian Open, losing to Raquel Atawo and Katarina Srebotnik in the Round of 64, 6-1, 6-3.

These matches follow the success of last year's exhibition which featured a US Open final rematch between Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys.

Fernandez, who was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2010, won two Olympic gold medals and 17 Grand Slam doubles titles during her illustrious career in which she achieved the doubles World No.1 ranking.

Craybas reached a career high of World No.39 on the WTA Tour in 2006, and famously appeared in 45 consecutive Grand Slam main draws from 2000 to 2011. Her most notable results on the big stage came at Wimbledon, where she beat Serena Williams in the fourth round in 2005, 6-3, 7-6, having already defeated Marion Bartoli in the second round, 6-1, 6-4.
