Elina Svitolina remains the woman to beat in the Porsche Race To Singapore following this week's update of the chase to make the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.

A tour-leading tally of four titles keeps the Ukranian at No.1 ahead of Karolina Pliskova and Johanna Konta and on course for a first WTA Finals appearance.

There was little movement towards the top of The Grid over the past week with most players preparing for the French Open, which began on Sunday. Caroline Wozniacki, Venus Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova will all be hopeful of improving their placings after opening with victories at Roland Garros - the latter two in straight sets.

One player rising through ranks is Kiki Bertens, who won her second consecutive title at the Nürnberger Versicherungscup last weekend.
