Pregnant Serena Williams has posed for a series of spectacular photos - and will feature on the front of the new edition of Vanity Fair magazine.
In a shoot with legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, the 23-time Grand Slam singles winner shows off her burgeoning baby bump.
In the interview, Williams reveals that her first reaction to discovering she was pregnant in January was one of shock: "How am I going to play the Australian Open? I had planned on winning Wimbledon this year."
In the feature, she also confirms that sister Venus knew about the pregnancy prior to the Australian Open final when they faced each other - but neither her coach nor tournament officials were informed.
Serena's fans will be happy to hear that her intention remains to return to the Tour; as she explains, "I don't think my story is over yet."
