Around the world, players are both working hard on court and enjoying down-time off court.

WTA players are scattered across the globe this week - some playing, some preparing and some taking a well-earned break - and they've been documenting it all on social media.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is the top seed in Rabat, and she looked relaxed as she headed out to dinner.

Francesca Schiavone also had a great day on court, and is clearly ecstatic about her recent career revival.

Some of their rivals are thinking about next week, though. Maria Sharapova has already hit the practice courts of Madrid.

Chan Yung-Jan and Chan Hao-Ching are just a flight away from joining her in Europe.

Still in R&R mode, though, are Naomi Osaka and Daniela Hantuchova - both of whom have been enjoying the lush gardens of springtime.

Meanwhile, Galina Voskoboeva opted to get some culture in her life at the Montréal Museum of Fine Art's acclaimed exhibition of Russian-French modernist painter Marc Chagall.

And, of course, WTA World No.1 Serena Williams graced the Met Gala in New York with her presence - and took fans behind the scenes with this selfie.
