Barbora Strycova set up a semifinal clash with Mona Barthel at the J&T Banka Prague Open as she beat Katerina Siniakova in three sets.

PRAGUE, Czech Republic - Barbora Strycova set up a semifinal clash with Mona Barthel at the J&T Banka Prague Open as she beat Katerina Siniakova in three sets, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.

In another all-Czech affair, the 31-year-old made a flying start to the match, showing off a sensational forehand on her way to a 5-1 lead in the first set.

Her young compatriot did her best to stay with her, breaking as the World No.18 attempted to serve out the set - but could not hold in the subsequent game.

Siniakova was impressive in the second set, making Strycova save three set points before serving it out and forcing a decider.

Strycova was resurgent in the third, though, bouncing back from losing serve in the opening game to take the set 6-3 and secure her place in the final four.

Strycova now faces Barthel, who beat Camila Giorgi in straight sets earlier in the day.
