'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands - CoCo Vandeweghe recently split with longtime coach Craig Kardon, and it was announced that the American will aim to win her third Ricoh Open title with the help of 1987 Wimbledon winner Pat Cash.

Vandeweghe announced the news on Twitter on Monday evening:

Vandeweghe is a former Wimbledon quarterfinalist and kicked off 2017 with her best major result yet, knocking out World No.1 Angelique Kerber and Garbiñe Muguruza in back-to-back matches en route to the Australian Open semifinal.

The American is seeded No.4 in 's-Hertogenbosch and will play her first match of the week against Carina Witthoeft.
