April 2017 WTA Player Of The Month Finalists

Daria Kasatkina: New surface, new champion. 19-year-old Daria Kasatkina kicked off the start of the clay court season by winning the tour's first all-teenager final since 2009 (Linz) and taking home her maiden WTA title. The Russian outlasted eventual Porsche Tennis Grand Prix winner Laura Siegemund in the semifinals before outfoxing fellow former junior prodigy Jelena Ostapenko in the championship match.

Laura Siegemund: Speaking of Siegemund, the German veteran had another week to rememeber in Stuttgart. A year after making her first WTA final at her home tournament, she made even more magic last week, planting another trio of Top 10 players before winning a thrilling third set tiebreak against Kristina Mladenovic.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova: Pavlyuchenkova is another Russian enjoying a stellar start to 2017. Winning her fourth Monterrey title at the Abierto GNP Seguros, Pavlyuchenkova knocked out then-World No.1 Angelique Kerber in three sets for the biggest win of her career.

Kristina Mladenovic: The French star continued her breakthrough season by beating Kerber and the recently returning Maria Sharapova en route to her second Premier final of the year in Stuttgart.
