With just a few weeks left before Zhuhai hosts the WTA Elite Trophy, the Zhuhai Hengqin International Tennis Centre already hosted a thrilling week of tennis as a warm-up; what did fans think of the new stadium?

ZHUHAI, China - The Huajin Securities WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai may still be a few weeks away, but its glittering new venue has already seen some exciting tennis pass through in September.

Chang Kai-Chen of Chinese Taipei was the winner of the ITF $50,000 event held at the Zhuhai Hengqin International Tennis Centre - which will host a coterie of top players at the WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai from November 3-8 -  defeating No.6 seed Zhang Shuai and former junior No.1 Xu Shilin along the way.

With over 7500 spectators in attendance throughout the week, another 3400 people packed the stadium to watch Chang capture the title in thrilling fashion over Zhang Yuxuan, 4-6, 6-1, 7-6(0). Players and fans loved the new stadium, which offered excellent vantage points from every seat.
