Attended Hampton University and UCLA from 1976 to 1978 (All-American for UCLA women's tennis team, No.1 in both singles and doubles) ... Also enjoys cooking, sewing and horseback riding ... Since retirement has coached tennis (incl. assistant coach for University of Virginia's women's tennis team and building and running an indoor club in Central Virginia) ...
