2019 – Earned second consecutive Top 50 year-end ranking finishing at No.31; reached SF at Australian Open defeating three Top 20 players en route for best career Grand Slam result (l. Kvitova); reached QF at Charleston (l. Puig) and 3r at Wimbledon (l. Martic); advanced to 2r on eight occasions (incl. Roland Garros and US Open); fell 1r seven times; in doubles, reached QF at Wimbledon (w/Mattek-Sands).
2018 - Breakthrough first Top 50 season (finishing No.36); SF at Miami (l. to Ostapenko) and San Jose (l. to Sakkari); QF at Monterrey (l. to Bogdan); reached 4r at Miami (l. to Suárez Navarro), 3r once and 2r three times; fell 1r nine times (incl. Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open) and in qualifying once at Australian Open; made Top 50 debut on April 9 (after Monterrey; rose from No.53 to No.45).
