Rabat: Buyukakcay upsets Linda Fruhvirtova; first WTA win since 2017
Former World No.60 Cagla Buyukakcay claimed her first WTA main-draw win since Bucharest 2017 with an upset of No.7 seed Linda Fruhvirtova in the first round of the Grand Prix Son Altesse Royale La Princesse Lalla Meryem. It was also the Turkish player's first Top 100 win since Roland Garros 2017, where she beat Mirjana Lucic-Baroni in the first round.
