She was the story of the summer, and you rewarded her for it: a soaring Aryna Sabalenka has been crowned August's Breakthrough of the Month.
Earning 50 percent of the vote among five candidates, the Belarusian was rewarded for a summer which saw her ranking rise nearly 20 places to a career-best World No.20.
She first made a statement in the US Open Series, as she reached the third round in Montreal and the semifinals in Cincinnati.
However, her biggest prize to date came the week prior to the year's first Grand Slam, as she won her first career title in New Haven, defeating Carla Suárez Navarro in the final.
In Montreal, Sabalenka saved multiple match points in a dramatic second round victory over Caroline Wozniacki, the first of five Top 10 victories she tallied in the month.
Wins over Karolina Pliskova and Caroline Garcia followed in Cincinnati, and another win over World No. 9 Julia Goerges came in the semifinals of New Haven, before she defeated Carla Suárez Navarro to win her first-ever singles title.
Sabalenka's form continued into the US Open, where she revealed her rising status in the sport has made for some adjustments.
Adjust she did, though, as she recorded her best Grand Slam result to date.
She scored another Top 10 scalp over two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova in the third round, and became the only player to take a set from eventual champion Naomi Osaka in a fourth round defeat.
The 20-year-old's body of work in August helped her edge two veterans who had their best major showing in New York: semifinalist Anastasija Sevastova and quarterfinalist Lesia Tsurenko.
