Sixth seed Rebecca Peterson triumphed over Anastasia Potapova after nearly three hours in the Astana Open quarterfinals. The Swede won the first set from a break down; came from 3-5 down in the second set to force a tiebreak, but missed a match point in it; and overturned a 0-3 deficit in the decider.
