ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA - Petra Kvitova found her indoor magic once again to cap off a dominant week a the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy to capture her 21st career title. En route to her first title of the season, the powerful Czech defeated Elena Vesnina, Irina Camelia Begu, Jelena Ostapenko, Julia Goerges, and dropped three games in the final against defending champion Kristina Mladenovic to become the first left-handed champion on Russian soil.
When Kvitova can work her way into a final her confidence overrides any sense of pressure or nerves. Her 21-7 record in finals says it all.
