MATCH POINTS

Konta and Barty have met just twice before - both times in 2017. The Australian won on the hard court in Wuhan, 6-0, 4-6, 7-6(3); the Brit won here in the Nottingham quarterfinal, 6-3, 7-5.

Konta returns to the final here after losing to Donna Vekic in last year's deciding match. The Croatian came out on top 2-6, 7-6(3), 7-5.

The Brit avenged that defeat in this year's semifinal, crushing the sixth seed in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.

Barty also reached the quarterfinal in Nottingham in 2016, where she lost to Karolina Pliskova.

The 2017 doubles final featured two Brits, Jocelyn Rae and Laura Robson, who lost to an Australian pair, Monique Adamczak and Storm Sanders, 6-4, 4-6, 10-4.
