On the back of her WTA-leading second title of the season in Dubai, Elina Svitolina moves up two spots to the No.4 position in this week's Porsche Race to Singapore.

The Ukrainian claimed her second Premier-level title of the season last week as she successfully defended her crown from a year ago, and anchors the movement inside the Top 8 as the tour leaves the Middle East.

There's also a change in the lower portion of the Top 8 this week as Dubai quarterfinalist and former World No.1 Karolina Pliskova bumps Germany's Julia Goerges out of the No.8 spot.

One of the biggest movers this week, however, is Svitolina's vanquished final foe in Dubai: Daria Kasatkina. In addition to cracking the WTA Top 20 in the rankings this week, the Russian soars 29 spots into 11th position in the Race.

Dubai quarterfinalist Caroline Garcia (up five places to No.14) and Hungarian Ladies' Open semifinalist Zhang Shuai (up four to No.15) are the other key movers in the Top 20 this week.

While not currently in the crop of contenders, a notable mover to keep an eye on in the Race this week is former champion Dominika Cibulkova, who won the WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global in 2016.

The Slovak won back-to-back matches for just the second time this season last week in Budapest, where she finished runner-up to Alison van Uytvanck, and moves up 26 spots to No.25 in the Race for her efforts.
