2004 - First Top 100 season; QF at Stockholm; reached 2r three times (incl. US Open); fell 1r five times (incl. Roland Garros, Wimbledon) and in Tour qualifying 12 times (incl. Australian Open); made Top 100 debut on May 3 (rose from No.113 to No.92); won one singles title and one doubles title on ITF Circuit.

2005 - QF at Portoroz; reached 3r once and 2r five times (incl. Roland Garros, Wimbledon); fell 1r 11 times (incl. other two majors) and in Tour qualifying five times; played all four Grand Slams in a season for first time.

2006 - Breakthrough season, highlighted by first Grand Slam QF at Wimbledon; d. No.8 seed Schnyder in 2r, No.31 seed Dulko 76(6) 57 75 in 3r (saving 5mp at 5-4 third set) and No.18 seed Sugiyama 76(11) 63 in 4r (saving 9sp in first set), losing to No.3 seed Henin (win over world No.10 Schnyder was first Top 10 win); QF twice more, at Forest Hills and Bali, then defied 0-5 career QF record by reaching SF in last two events of year, at Bangkok (l. to Tanasugarn) and Québec City (l. to Puchkova); ranking cut two thirds from Wimbledon to end of year, making biggest jumps on July 10 (No.129 to No.65 after Wimbledon; blew past previous high No.79), September 18 (No.56 to No.47 after Bali; Top 50 debut), November 6 (No.42 to No.38 after Québec City); reached 2r four times (incl. 2008 - Third Top 100 season, highlighted by reaching 4r at US Open (d. No.20 seed Vaidisova en route; l. to No.4 seed and eventual champion S.Williams); was second Grand Slam second week of career (after QF at 2006 Wimbledon); reached 2r once; fell 1r five times, incl.
