Berlin: Sasnovich upsets Azarenka; second Top 20 win on grass this year
Aliaksandra Sasnovich finished off an upset of Victoria Azarenka in the first round of the bett1open after their match was suspended overnight at 1-1 in the second set. The result was Sasnovich's second Top 20 win of 2023, both of which have come on grass, and her 21st overall.
