Lausanne: Cornet triumphs over Golubic in battle of former champions
No.7 seed Alizé Cornet came from a set down to defeat Viktorija Golubic in a first-time encounter in the first round of the Ladies Open Lausanne. Cornet was the 2018 champion at the event, while Golubic had won it in 2016 -- both times when it was held in Gstaad.
