Hamburg: Rus bests Noha Akugue, claims first WTA title at 126th attempt
Playing her 126th WTA main draw at the Hamburg European Open, No.7 seed Arantxa Rus captured her first Hologic WTA Tour title by defeating wild card Noma Noha Akugue in the final. The result was Rus's 26th victory in her past 29 matches at all levels.
