Unseeded Ashlyn Krueger, 19, claimed her first Hologic WTA Tour title at the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships without dropping a set in five matches. No.123-ranked Krueger, who had only won two tour-level matches prior to Osaka, entered the Top 100 for the first time as a result.
