Samsonova returns to Abu Dhabi semis with victory over Krejcikova
No.8 seed Liudmila Samsonova, the 2023 Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open runner-up, returned to the semifinals with a straight-sets defeat of No.4 seed Barbora Krejcikova in the last eight. The result reprised her win over the Czech in the 2023 second round.
