No.8 seed Ana Bogdan reached her first tour-level semifinal since Parma 2022 with a gruelling comeback win over No.1 seed Arantxa Rus at the Transylvania Open. Bogdan trailed 4-2 in the third set but came back to improve to 3-0 overall against Rus.
