Former champ Pliskova bests Potapova, extends win streak to seven
Karolina Pliskova, the 2017 Qatar TotalEnergies Open champion, reached the third round of the 2024 edition after coming from 4-2 down in the third set to defeat Anastasia Potapova. The result was Cluj-Napoca champion Pliskova's seventh straight win.
