Swiatek tops Mertens for ninth straight win at Stuttgart
Two-time defending champion Iga Swiatek improved to 9-0 at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix by besting Elise Mertens 6-3, 6-4 in the second round on Thursday. It was the first singles meeting between World No.1 Swiatek and No.30 Mertens.
