Radwanska: 'I don't think 2018 can be worse than this year'

Agnieszka Radwanska has revealed that she was “praying” for the 2017 season to end after finishing the year in 28th position in the WTA Rankings.
The 28-year-old, who is a former WTA World No.2, suffered with injuries and illness throughout the season and failed to claim a title for the first season since 2010.
The Pole is glad that 2017 is behind her and believes that things can only get better next year.
“Definitely a very difficult year,” she told Sport 360.
“I’ve been struggling with a couple of injuries, a couple of viruses as well on the way. It was really hard being without preparation before every Grand Slam pretty much.
“I was just praying that this year would be over and I’m going to start from the beginning next year.
“We’ll see how it goes but for sure I don’t think it can be worse than this year.”
Radwanska begins her 2018 season at the ASB Classic in Auckland before moving on to the Sydney International and the Australian Open.
