Cincinnati: Tomljanovic survives Townsend's touch in nailbiter
Ajla Tomljanovic came from a break down in the third set to defeat qualifier Taylor Townsend in the first round of the Western & Southern Open. Tomljanovic had lost her only previous meeting with the American in the 2017 Waco ITF W50 final.
