Sakkari storms past Tomova into Charleston Round of 16
In her third career appearance at the Credit One Charleston Open, No.3 seed Maria Sakkari of Greece notched a 6-3, 6-3 second-round win over Bulgaria's Viktoriya Tomova. Sakkari is now a win away from matching her 2019 quarterfinal run in Charleston.
