2017 champion Daria Kasatkina ended the run of narrow victories by top-seeded Jessica Pegula at the Credit One Charleston Open on Saturday, eking out a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(5) semifinal win. It was the third time this week Pegula had played a third-set tiebreak.
