Kamilla Rakhimova defeated No.7 seed Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the Grand Prix Son Altesse Royale La Princesse Lalla Meryem quarterfinals to reach her second WTA semifinal of 2024, fourth overall and first outside Bogota. The pair were playing for the first time since their junior days, when Cocciaretto won both their meetings.
