Coached at home by Mayk Schurbesmann ... Mother, Hannelore, is a retired teacher (coached her in the past); father, Wolfgang, is a doctor (was European junior shotputting champion); older sister, Sunna, also played tennis (played pro but injured her shoulder and stopped) ... Started playing at age 3 because sister played ... Strengths are mental game, serve and movement; favorite surface is hard but likes all courts ... Tennis idol was Steffi Graf (had same clothes and racquet when she was young) ... Best tennis memory came in early 2012, winning first WTA title at Hobart and reaching 3r at Australian Open ...
