2004 - QF at Hobart; notched second career Top 20 win over No.19 Farina Elia (Los Angeles 1r); won one ITF Circuit singles title; ret. during 's-Hertogenbosch 2r match w/right wrist strain and during Bali 1r match w/right wrist tendonitis.

2005 - Reached first Tour singles final at Cincinnati (d. No.15 Zvonareva en route for third career Top 20 win; l. to Schnyder), SF at San Diego (first career Tier I SF; ret. vs. Sugiyama w/lower back strain) and QF at Memphis; equal-best Grand Slam performance of career at Roland Garros, reaching 3r (l. to Dementieva); on August 8 (after San Diego) rose from No.61 to No.42 (Top 50 debut); ret. during US Open 1r match w/heat illness; withdrew from Los Angeles w/right knee tendonitis and from Hasselt and Philadelphia w/left wrist tendonitis.

2006 - QF at Seoul; notched first career Top 10 win over No.3 Petrova in Roland Garros 1r (snapping her 15-match win streak); won third ITF Circuit doubles title of career; withdrew from Tokyo [Pan Pacific], Bogotá and Acapulco w/left ankle sprain and from Cincinnati w/right knee injury.

2007 - Second Top 50 season; won first Tour singles title nine years after going pro at Prague (d. Bartoli in final); runner-up at Cincinnati (l. to Chakvetadze in final); QF twice, at Forest Hills and Beijing; equal-best Grand Slam run of career at Wimbledon, reaching 3r (l. to eventual champion V.Williams 62 36 75, having led 5-3 third set); wins over No.14 Safina (Wimbledon) and No.16 Schnyder (Cincinnati) were fifth and sixth Top 20 wins; won one singles title on ITF Circuit; withdrew from Bali w/right patellar tendonitis and from Bangkok w/shoulder injury.

2008 - Reached 2r twice (Australian Open, Dubai); fell 1r seven times (incl. Roland Garros); notched seventh Top 20 win at Dubai (d. No.17 Szavay); withdrew from Indian Wells, Amelia Island, Prague, Berlin and Wimbledon w/left knee injury and from Charleston w/hip injury; ret. in Istanbul 1r w/left knee injury.
