Viral illness forces Azarenka out of Stanford
STANFORD, CA, USA - Victoria Azarenka View Profile announced she would be withdrawing from the upcoming Bank of the West Classic due to a viral injury.

The two-time Australian Open champion initially planned to make Stanford her comeback tournament after giving birth to baby Leo, but moved up her return to the Mallorca Open ahead of the Wimbledon Championships, where she reached the fourth round.
Azarenka won the Bank of the West Classic in 2010, defeating Maria Sharapova, who also receieved a wildcard to play next week in Stanford.
