CAMELLIA – two matches to play
A. SEVASTOVA (LAT) vs. S. ZHANG (CHN) - on Thursday
After losing to Garbiñe Muguruza on Wednesday, Zhang must defeat Sevastova to remain in contention in this group.
Should the Latvian win this match, then the group winner will be decided by the winner of Muguruza vs. Sevastova on Friday.
If Sevastova loses to Zhang in straight sets, she is eliminated - Zhang will be 3-2 in sets, while Sevastova's best would be 2-2.
ORCHID - two matches to play
A. BARTY (AUS) vs. C. GARCIA (FRA) - on Thursday
Barty must win in straight sets against Garcia to keep her hopes alive after losing her opening match to Aryna Sabalenka.
Should the Frenchwoman win, the winner of the group will be the winner of the match between Sabalenka and Garcia on Friday.
ROSE GROUP - one match to play
E. MERTENS (BEL) vs. J. GOERGES (GER) - on Thursday
If Mertens wins in two sets, or loses in three sets, she qualifies out of the Rose Group, and Anett Kontaveit finishes second.
If Goerges wins in two sets, she advances.
AZALEA - one match to play
M. KEYS (USA) vs. Q. WANG (CHN) - on Friday
It's simple for the 2017 US Open finalist: win, and in. If Keys wins in two sets on Friday, she qualifies for the semifinals.
Should that result come to pass, top seed Daria Kasatkina will finish second in the group.
If Keys wins in three sets, or Wang wins at all, then the order of the group will be either one of them in first or second - based on number of sets - with Kasatkina in third.
