NEW YORK, NY, USA - Former World No.4 Francesca Schiavone bid farewell to tennis with her heart on Wednesday, and her fellow players have responded in kind.
The 2010 Roland Garros champion receieved an outpouring of support from her extended WTA players after she announced her retirement on Wednesday morning at the US Open, saluting the one-of-a-kind Italian for her contributions to the game.
