The US Open always brings out the most daring tennis attire. This year we’re again enjoying a plethora of unique silhouettes, sporty feminine aesthetics, vibrant colors, and powerful black designs that enhance our experience of night matches under the tournament lights.

Marija Zivlak of Women’s Tennis Blog presents the best WTA fashion launched in New York this fortnight - pick your favorite look below!

Solid dresses in vibrant colors have always looked stunning on Sloane Stephens, so it was expected that the reigning champion would rock the orange Nike Fall Slam Dress.

Not being a 2-in-1 set, the dress gives players freedom to choose the style of shorts and Stephens, just like other NikeCourt stars, opted for some contrast with the tie-dye Nike Fall Power 5" Shortie.

Boasting the Nike TechKnit Cool ventilation technology and the sweat-wicking power of Dri-FIT technology, the dress helps the American handle scorching temperatures, while racerback, deep slit and pleats on the side panels ensure unrestricted movement.

Headbands give a nice retro touch to an outfit, as we can see on new Top 20 member Aryna Sabalenka. Many WTA players wear this Nike Fall Slam Seamless Tank and Nike Fall Victory Skirt, but the 20-year-old from Belarus pulls them off to perfection.

An all-around pleated skirt with striped waistband is an ever-present design in women’s tennis, but also one that never ceases to please our fashion senses. The unconventional combination of bold orange and powdery pink, officially called guava ice, gives a unique appeal to this outfit.

As we can see on Caroline Wozniacki and Kristina Mladenovic, Stella McCartney is a master of creating sporty designs that exude femininity. The answer to her winning formula can be found in slim-fitting design enhanced with stylish and functional laser-cut venting zones and contrasting blocks of color.

The red side panels in the adidas Stella McCartney NYC Tank visually narrow the waist, while asymmetric colorblocks in the adidas Stella McCartney NYC Skirt give an artistic effect.

One can never go wrong with a striped top paired with a solid skirt, as we can see on Sorana Cirstea. Her New Balance Fall Tournament Tank features a rounded neckline, seamless body construction and slim racerback, with a nice contrasting “NB” logo detail at left chest.

The Romanian’s New Balance Fall Tournament Skirt features built-in boyshort and curved drop tail hem for coverage, plus tiny laser perforations all over for superior breathability.

23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams launched a completely unique design at Flushing Meadows.

The Nike x Off-White tutu created by Virgil Abloh is a daring ensemble that has, according to global fashion search platform Lyst, caused a surge in online searches for black tennis outfits at the start of the US Open.

This single-sleeve ballerina dress might not be the best pick for a regular tennis player, but given that the player in question is legendary Serena and we’re in New York, an unconventional look that gets people talking is always a preferable choice.
