This September was marked by the most fashionable Grand Slam, the US Open, but the remainder of the month was just as stylish, as tennis apparel companies are gearing us up for the fall/winter season.

Marija Zivlak of Women’s Tennis Blog will show us the best WTA outfits that graced the courts during the Asian Swing in September.

Dayana Yastremska always looks flawless in Yonex apparel. In Osaka and Wuhan, the Ukrainian teenager rocked new burgundy and orange separates -- a classic sporty skirt with elastic waistband, paired with a colorblocked racerback tank.

The back of the tank is highlighted by a curvy stripe and keyhole cutout that serves to enhance airflow. Neat details are contrast Yonex logo and wording at the solid burgundy section.

Lacoste is a master of all-around pleated skirts. Their latest take on this classic tennis piece is the fuschia-colored design crafted in stretchy technical material. A 3D Lacoste Croc at flat elastic waistband gives a nice touch to the solid skirt.

Christina McHale paired the skirt with a coordinating short-sleeve top that features white color-blocks on the sides.

Another perfect pleated skirt seen on the WTA courts in September was the adidas New York Skirt, a black-and-white version of the vibrant look introduced at the US Open. The glitched all-over graphic takes inspiration from the streets of New York City.

The skirt flows in the air as players chase the ball, so it’s perfectly combined with a tight-fitting top, as we saw at the Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open on Andrea Petkovic and Caroline Wozniacki.

The grey adidas New York Tank, featuring built-in bra with removable cups, is made from soft and durable quick-dry fabric -- the material is actually recycled polyester, continuing adidas’ mission to save resources and decrease emissions. Open-hole mesh overlays deliver ventilated comfort and a standout multi-dimensional look.

Even though her outfits are not branded, Camila Giorgi is among the most famous names on the tennis fashion scene. Her style is feminine and flirty, dominated by floral patterns, ruffles, lace, layered skirts and a pastel color palette.

The Italian’s nude ensemble in Osaka and Wuhan included a slightly cropped top and flattering skirt with flounce hem. The subtle white print resembles floral embroidery.

The Guangzhou Open champion Sofia Kenin rocked the Fila Awning Full Coverage Tank and Fila Awning A-Line Skirt during the Asian Swing.

The Awning collection is all about vibrant colors -- fuchsia purple and orange peel -- incorporated in classic sporty silhouettes. The V-neck full-back top offers UPF 50+ protection executed in a nice color-blocked design. The skirt brings style in a super simple package.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands redefines tennis style with Lucky in Love’s Asia-inspired Yin Yang Flora collection, in particular the Hi-Tiger Skirt which features a layered pleated tier on back. The American paired the floral and tiger print with a white short-sleeved top highlighted by diagonal see-through stripes on the front.
